Featured Projects : YMCA Administration Building

THE SOLUTION:

In 2019, Schroeder Solutions worked closely with VJS Construction and the YMCA to create a new administration office in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The YMCA had recently acquired the space and worked with VJS to renovate it to fit their current space needs. Schroeder and VJS collaborated early in the project to ensure accuracy in placing electrical and working around already existing columns. The YMCA occupies the first floor and features private offices with height adjustable desking, conference rooms, dining/lounge area for workout members, lockers and lounge furniture. Our design and sales team worked closely with the YMCA to pick out furniture and finishes that would enhance the work environment and promote a healthy lifestyle, something the YMCA cares deeply about.

Communication with VJS Construction and our manufacturers played a  crucial role in our success of this project. Almost every private office required a CR or “special customer request” in order to work around what was already included in the space. We had to collaborate to ensure every office was efficiently organized and gave the occupant the best set up possible to get their job done. We are so extremely happy with the outcome and enjoyed working with the YMCA staff on their new administration building.
