About Us
Schroeder Installation Systems was founded in 1988 when Schroeder Moving opened offices in Milwaukee. Integrated Office Solutions, an independent company, was started in 1998 to supply products to office furniture dealers and customers. In 2000, Integrated Office Solutions and Schroeder Installation Systems moved to a 45,000 square foot building in New Berlin, allowing the two companies to expand and offer design, architectural products, contract furniture, and support services. Then, in 2002, the companies merged, renaming itself Schroeder Solutions. After out growing its current space, Schroeder Solutions moved into a beautiful new 60,000 square foot building to support its growth and provide better service to its customers.

Currently, we have approximately 80 professional employees dedicated to serving our customers. A few names on our client list include: Northwestern Mutual, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Briggs and Stratton, Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, WE Energies, and Kohl’s. Schroeder Solutions is able to meet our customers’ facility needs locally, statewide, and nationwide. We are capable of specifying, estimating, procuring, installing, and servicing any type of furniture with our own equipment and personnel. With over 45,000 square feet of warehouse and office space in Southeastern Wisconsin and a beautiful showroom to present our ideas, we have all the necessities to meet our customers’ needs at our fingertips.

Scott Gierhahn: President/CEO

Since 2002, when Scott became the President of Schroeder Solutions, the company has seen tremendous growth and success. He has led Schroeder Solutions to receive numerous awards and never settles for mediocrity in any aspect of the business. His hands on approach to leadership gives his employees and clients confidence in his commitment to continuous improvement. His expertise in both sales and the interiors industry has led him to be a speaker/presenter for organizations such as the Waukesha Chamber of Commerce, Independent Business Associates, BOMA, IFMA, Managements Resource Associates, and various Higher Education Institutions in Southeastern Wisconsin. In addition he has been featured in many articles as an expert on office furniture trends.

When he’s not in the office or working the room at a networking event, Scott is most likely spending time up north, relaxing at his lake home. He also enjoys walking his two dogs and dining out or biking with his wife, Debbie.

Nikki Couillard: Vice President

Nikki Couillard joined Schroeder Solutions in February 2005 and serves as Vice President of the company as well as a Lead Designer on numerous client projects. With a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and over ten years of experience in commercial design, Nikki has the design and leadership skills necessary to manage the intricacies of her client's projects. She has worked in both the Wisconsin and Colorado markets completing commercial office projects that range in size from one private office to over 400 workstations, and her specific expertise with the Teknion product line brings a breadth of knowledge to the Schroeder Solutions team.

Nikki’s design instincts don’t just kick in when she’s at work – her love for color and warmth is evident throughout her beautiful Jackson Park home. She also loves curling up with a good book and finding a great deal, but her favorite pastime is spending time with her daughter, Ariyanna and her husband, Chris.

Scott Kossoris: Chief Operating Officer

Scott has an accounting degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and an MBA from Marquette University. He is a CPA with over 26 years of financial management experience. In 2007 Scott joined Schroeder Solutions as CFO/Corporate Controller and at the end of 2008 he was promoted to Chief Operating Office. His focus is on the growth and profitability of Schroeder Solutions with specific attention to cash flow management, process improvement and the measurement of results. In 2009 Scott also took on the HR responsibilities for the company.

When he's not crunching numbers, Scott spends time with his wife, Carol and their three children. For the last seven years Scott has been the assistant tennis coach at Franklin High School . He enjoys playing tennis and golf when time allows.

Jim Friedl: General Manager

Jim has been a standing fixture at Schroeder Solutions since its inception in 1988. Jim has worked in many different capacities spanning from installer, to project supervisor, expediter, project manager, warehouse manager and now as the General Manager. His experience is this industry is unparalleled. He has worked on small office relocations and reconfigurations as well as coordinated moves and installations of over a thousand people. During his 20 plus years at Schroeder Jim has continued to excel in each job he has taken on.

During his free time, Jim enjoys bowling, taking his motorcycle out for a ride, traveling cross country to attend NASCAR races or spending time at his home in the Wisconsin Dells.

Amanda Stein: Marketing/Sales Coordinator

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Writing from Anderson University in Indiana, Amanda joined Schroeder Solutions in 2003 as the Marketing Coordinator. Her writing background proved instrumental as she worked to get the marketing program up and running. She has helped rebrand the company twice – first in 2003 when Schroeder Solutions was formed and again in 2009. In 2007, Amanda took on additional responsibilities as the sales coordinator. In this capacity she supports both our customers and internal staff with order processing, tracking and scheduling to ensure on-time completion of projects. In addition she is constantly working to think of new and innovative ways to continue to improve the overall processes and procedures of the company.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband Steve, watching her step-son Ethan play football, working in her garden and baking cupcakes. She also loves to travel when she has the time and has been fortunate enough to visit locations such as New Zealand, Russia, Great Britain, and Ireland.
